Hide a message inside an ordinary photo. The photo looks the same to the eye. Add a password and only someone with that password can read it — or skip the password for a quick note that anyone who opens the photo in the app can read.
Everything happens on your device — your photos and messages are never uploaded. The saved photo also carries none of the original's location or camera data.

WHICH MODE?
- BEACON — a public stamp that survives screenshots, light cropping and re-posting.
- ARMORED — private, and survives the JPEG compression messaging apps apply.
- VAULT — private, the most room for a long message or a file, but the photo must stay a PNG.
Want cover if you're pressed to unlock it? Turn on a decoy password in HIDE: one password opens your real message, the other opens a harmless one you can hand over instead.

BEACON — a short PUBLIC message, stamped so it survives screenshots, light cropping and re-posting (heavy cropping or shrinking can erase it). Anyone who sees the picture can read it.

There is no password reset. If you forget this password, the hidden content is gone for good — write it down somewhere safe.
Reveal THIS password if forced. Without a password the two secrets can't be told apart, and a decoy-only picture looks like one hiding a real secret of similar size. A much larger hidden secret makes the picture bigger, which an expert could notice — keep the decoy roughly the size of what you're protecting.

Opening a VAULT picture? Tap above, pick Choose File, and open the PNG from Files. A picture taken from the Photos library can reach the app as a re-saved JPEG copy, and a JPEG re-save erases a VAULT secret. ARMORED and BEACON pictures open fine from Photos.
AUTO tries every mode (slowest — the public BEACON scan can take 30s+). If you know how it was hidden, pick that mode to skip straight to it.
